This includes"Searching for eBooks" instructions are for searching from the EBSCO eBook Collection database interface as well as the required use of Adobe Digital Editions as a reader if you choose to download an EBSCO eBook. The latter and other content provided in this guide is relevant when accessing eBooks in the library catalog or via links on LibGuides.

Access and Download options are on the eBook record displayed after clicking View eBook on the catalog record. Most provide Access only in EPUB format and require the Digital Reader if Download>Full eBook is selected. Some EBSCO eBooks can still be downloaded or viewed as a regular PDF. Otherwise, for the majority of their eBooks that provide EPUB access only, an EBSCO eBook can be viewed online without the Digital Editions reader in one of two ways: 1) Click on EPUB under Access or 2) Download a select chapter via Chapters Only under Download or under the Table of Contents display on the eBook record (scroll below Access and Download buttons).
