The following items are all available in the APU collection.

Search Tip: Once you've clicked on one of the links below and you're in the library catalog, click on the LINK+ button to the right to see similar books available in LINK+ libraries.

LINK+ is a library catalog for the holdings of 60+ libraries, including APU Libraries. APU faculty, staff and students may request for free anything in LINK+ that has the status of "Available." Allow 2-5 business days for delivery. For more information, go to the LINK+ section of the library website.

NOTE: The handout above on finding resources by subject will work with the LINK+ catalog, too.

Search Strategies:

• To find demographic information, research, or statistics related to a particular issue, try a search like the one you see below. In the top search box, enter a term or phrase related to the issue of interest, and then choose 'Title' from the menu to the left. In the second search box, enter this search string (as seen below): demograph* OR research OR statistic*

• Click on some of the links in the box to the left of this one (the 'Research Methods Searches to Get You Started' box). These links perform specific subject searches in the APU library catalog. After clicking one of these, look for the red, LINK+ button to the right of the results (in the 'More Resources' column). Click on this button to see what LINK+ can provide for the same subject.

Search Tips: 

• By using an asterisk, your results will have words that start with the letters before the asterisk (i.e. legislate, legislates, legislation, etc.) – this is a good way to get at word variations.

WorldCat allows you to search the collections of more than 10,000 libraries around the world. To request items, look up the publication information in WorldCat, then fill out the Interlibrary Loan Request form on the APU Libraries web site. Requested items will be mailed to Regional Campus students' home addresses - they will be held for pick-up by Azusa campus students.
