Health Sciences Virtual Library

For Nursing, Public Health, Kinesiology, & Physical Therapy

Searching for Books and Ebooks

  1. Go to – www.apu.edu/library

  2. Click on the "Books and Media" tab

  3. Enter your search terms, then click on "search". In this case, I entered "code of ethics for nurses".

  4. Once you click on search, you will see that limiters have been applied:

  5. Now remove the following limiters since we are only interested in books: Journals, Videos, and Music Scores.

  6. Depending on the format of the book that you are interested in, you can select "print book" or "ebook".

  7. You will also want to narrow by language, scroll down to "language/dialect". And select "english".

Required and Recommended Textbooks

For some classes, I have linked to the course-required and recommended materials on the specific class guides that I have created.
